Sports Authority of India Recruitment 2022 – About the Company : The Sports Authority of India is the apex national sports body of India, established in 1982 by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of Government of India for the development of sports in India. SAI has 2 Sports Academic institutions, 11 “SAI Regional Centres” (SRC), 14 “Centre of Excellence” (COE/COX), 56 “Sports Training Centres” (STC) and 20 Special Area Games (SAG). In addition, SAI also manages Netaji Subhash High Altitude Training Centre (Shilaroo, Himachal Pradesh) as well as 5 stadiums in the national capital of Delhi, such as Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium (also serves as national head office of SAI), Indira Gandhi Arena, Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium, SPM Swimming Pool Complex and Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range.

Sports Authority of India Recruitment Drive Eligibility Criteria :
Persons having Master’s Degree in relevant subject (Sports, Law, Management) or technical qualifications like B. Tech or MBA or equivalent qualification in relevant field are eligible. Minimum 1 years of experience in relevant field like relationship manager/ sports management/ operations/events etc. This will be counted only if the same is acquired after completion of essential qualification.
Age Limit :
- Manager (Athlete Relations) – 32 years
Total Vacancies:

Salary:
- Manager (Athlete Relations) – Rs.45,000 – 60,000/-
SAI Recruitment/Selection Process :
- Candidate will be shortlist in the ratio of 1:5 with following criteria for which necessary documents to be attached along with the application.
| Manager (Athlete Relations) | i. Weightage for marks Obtained in Essential Qualification (Total – 40 Marks) with further break-up as given below : a. Greater or equal to 75% – 40 Marks b. 60% to less than 75% – 30 Marks c. 45% to less than 60% – 20 Marks d. less than 45% – 0 Marks ii. Weightage for work Experience (30 marks) with further break-up as: a. Greater than 2 Years- 30 Marks b. 1 to less than 2 Years- 20 Marks iii. Weightage for work Experience in Sports Sector (25 marks) with further break-up as: a. Greater than 02 Years- 25 Marks b. 1 to less than 2 Years- 20 Marks iv. Sports Participation at National and International Level in Olympic Discipline-05 Marks Note: If a candidate is working in Sports Sector, he/she will be eligible for weightage in ii & iii depending on number of Years of Experience. |
- The final selection will be based on interview of candidates by a committee. The interview will be for 100 marks. The shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview and assessed as follows:
