NLC Recruitment 2022 – About the Company : Neyveli Lignite Corporation Limited ( NLC ) is a Navaratna Government of India Enterprise. It is founded in 1956 and it was inaugurated by the first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. It is the fossil fuel mining sector in India and thermal power generation. It manually produces about 30 million tonne lignite from opencast mines at Neyveli. This lignite is used in the pithead thermal power station to produce electricity.

Assistant Service Worker / Trainee :
- Pass in V Standard (5th Standard) and above
Assistant Industrial Worker / Trainee (Non ITI) :
- Pass in VIII Standard (8th Standard) and above
Clerical Assistant Gr.-II / Trainee :
- Pass in Any Degree
Junior Stenographer / Trainee :
- Any Degree with Pass in the Technical Examination of the Government in Typewriting Senior Grade (English) and Pass in the Technical Examination of the Government in Shorthand Junior Grade (English)
Knowledge in operation of Computer will be preferred
Data Entry Operator / Trainee :
- B.Sc. (Computer Science) or Bachelor of Computer Application.

- PwBD +OBC(NCL) – 43 Years
- PwBD + SC/ST – 45 Years

NLC Recruitment Selection Process:
- For the posts of Data Entry Operator / Trainee and Junior Stenographer / Trainee. Selection will be based on Written Test (70 marks) and Practical Skill Test (30 marks); Written Test will be of objective type multiple choice Questions for 70 marks in the following subjects: –

- Duration of examination will be 90 minutes (120 minutes for the candidates who are availing the facility of scribe and for those who are eligible to use scribe); The Question Paper shall be Bilingual (Tamil & English). Practical / Skill Test will be for 30 marks, which will be conducted in the following manner: –

For the post of Clerical Assistant Gr.-II / Trainee :
- Selection will be based on Written Test; Written Test will be of objective type multiple choice Questions for 100 marks in the following subjects: –

Selection will be based on Written Test (70 marks) and Practical Test/ Skill Test (30 marks); Written Test will be of objective type multiple choice Questions for 70 marks in the following subjects: –

For the post of Assistant Service Worker / Trainee :
- Selection will be based on Practical Test / Skill Test. Practical Test / Skill Test will be conducted for 100 marks
Minimum Qualifying marks in Practical Test/ Skill Test will be 40% for all PwBD candidates. Final selection shall be in the order of merit based on the marks scored by the candidates out of 100 marks in Practical Test / Skill Test, subject to scoring minimum qualifying marks.
