NIRT Walk-in-Interview Drive 2021 – About the Company : National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis- It is a tuberculosis research organization located in Chennai. It carries out research on clinical, bacteriological as well as behavioral and epidemiological aspects of tuberculosis and HIV-TB. NIRT is formerly known as the Tuberculosis Chemotherapy Centre. It was set up in 1956 as a 5-year project under the joint auspices of the Indian Council of Medical Research, the World Health Organization, and the British Medical Research Council. Institute is recognized for post-graduate training leading to the Ph.D. degrees in bacteriology, biochemistry, immunology, and statistics by the Madras University and by the Inter-University Board of India and Sri Lanka.

National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis Recruitment Drive Eligibility Criteria :
- 12th pass in science subjects and two years diploma in radiology/radiography or one year diploma plus one year required experience in a recognized organization or two years relevant experience in Government recognized organization. B.Sc. degree shall be treated as 3 years experience.
Project Driver Cum Mechanic :
- Matric/S.S.C or equivalent from a recognized board with valid driving license issued by RTO of any State and
authorized to drive Light Motor Vehicle (Goods & Passenger) and Two-wheeler with/without gear and two years experience in recognized organization/ Institute. - Preference will be given to those who have license other than above to drive Heavy Motor Vehicle (Goods & passenger) and Three Wheelers (Auto Rickshaw)

- Project Driver Cum Mechanic – 25 Years
