AAI Recruitment Drive Eligibility Criteria :
Educational Qualification: Apprentices
Graduate/Diploma:
A Candidates should have possess full time (regular) four years degree or three years (regular) Diploma in Engineering in any of the above-mentioned streams recognized by AICTE, GOI.
ITI Trade:
A Candidates should have possess ITI/NCVT certificate of the above-mentioned trades from institutions recognized by AICTE, GOI.
General Eligibility Criteria:
- Only Indian Nationals from the North Eastern Region(NER) are eligible.
- Candidates who have completed their degree/diploma within the past 3(three) years from the date of application are only eligible to apply
Age Limit ( As on 31 December 2023): 18 – 26 years
Age Relaxation of Airport Authority of India Recruitment:
- Relaxation in upper age limit for categories like SC/ST/OBC/PWBD etc. as per Govt. of India guidelines is applicable
Salary details:
- Graduate (Degree) Apprentices: Rs.15,000/-
- Technical (Diploma) Apprentice: Rs. 12,000/-
- Trade Apprentices (ITI): Rs.9,000/-
Educational Qualification: Junior Assistant (Fire Services):
- 10th Pass + 3 years approved regular Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile/Fire withPass marks
- 12th Pass (Regular Study) with Pass marks
- Desirable: Due weightage shall be given to a candidate possessing any one or more (subject to maximum limit of the following).
- Computer Science as subject at 12th class level
NCC ‘B’ Certificate - Relevant experience in an aviation/regular/industrial fire service
- Basic Fire Fighting Training Course from AAI Fire Training Establishment. Sub-Fire Officer course from National Fire Service College, Nagpur.
- Computer Science as subject at 12th class level
Driving Licence:
- Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License OR
- Valid Medium Vehicle License issued at least one year before the date of Advertisement i.e. 30/12/2023
- Valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) licence issued at least two years before the date of Advertisement i.e. 30/12/2023.
Senior Assistant (Electronics):
- Diploma in Electronics/Telecommunication/Radio Engineering
- 2 Years relevant experience in the concerned discipline
Senior Assistant (Operations):
- Graduate with LMV Licence Diploma in Management will be preferred.
- 2 Years relevant experience in the concerned discipline
Senior Assistant (Accounts):
- Graduate preferably B. Com. with Computer literacy test in MS Office
- 2 Years relevant experience in the concerned discipline
Note: Only candidates who are Domicile of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura can apply for the above post.
Age Limit ( As on 30 December 2023 ): 18 – 30 years
Age Relaxation:
- The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and
- The upper age limit is relaxable by 03 years for OBC (Non-Creamy layer) candidates.
- The upper age limit is relaxable by ten years for PWD candidates
- The upper age limit is relaxable by ten years for candidates who are in regular service of AAI

Selection Process of AAI Aero Recruitment 2024: Apprentices
- The selection process will be based on Interview & Document verification
- The selection of the candidates would be based on percentage (%) of marks in the qualifying examination.
- The candidature of the applicant would be provisional.
- The shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview/Document verification through their registered email IDs only.
- The final selection will be based on Interview/verification of certificates and submission of Medical Fitness Certificate at the time of joining.
- The selected candidates will be posted preferably at the given locations in North Eastern Region based on their registration location (in portal).
