RBI Recruitment 2022 – About the Company : The Reserve Bank of India is India’s central bank and regulatory body and is responsible for the issue and supply of the Indian rupee and the regulation of the Indian banking system. It also manages the country’s main payment systems and works to promote its economic development.
Bharatiya Reserve Bank Note Mudran is one of the specialised divisions of RBI through which it mints Indian bank notes and coins. RBI established the National Payments Corporation of India as one of its specialised division to regulate the payment and settlement systems in India. Deposit Insurance and Credit Guarantee Corporation was established by RBI as one of its specialised division for the purpose of providing insurance of deposits and guaranteeing of credit facilities to all Indian banks.
Until the Monetary Policy Committee was established in 2016, it also had full control over monetary policy in the country. It commenced its operations on 1 April 1935 in accordance with the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934. The original share capital was divided into shares of 100 each fully paid. Following India’s independence on 15 August 1947, the RBI was nationalised on 1 January 1949.

RBI Recruitment Drive Eligibility Criteria :
Law Officer Grade B:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law from any University/ College/ Institution recognized by UGC and the Bar Council of India with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent in the aggregate of all semesters/ years. (Note: For SC/ ST and PwBD candidates, the minimum required marks shall be 45% in Bachelor’s degree in Law in the aggregate of all semesters/ years, if vacancies are reserved for them.)
Manager (Civil):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/ years. Aggregate Grade Point or percentage of marks where awarded would mean aggregate over the entire duration of the course.
Manager (Electrical):
- B.E./ B.Tech Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/ years. Aggregate Grade Point or percentage of marks where awarded would mean aggregate over the entire duration of the course.
Library Professional Grade A:
Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/ Commerce/ Science and Master’s Degree in ‘Library Science’ or ‘Library and Information Science’ of a recognized University/ Institution.
Architect :
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from reputed institutes recognized by Indian Universities with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/ years. Aggregate Grade Point or percentage of marks where awarded would mean aggregate over the entire duration of the course. Registered with Council of Architecture, New Delhi under Architects Act of 1972. Working knowledge of Auto-CAD.
Full-Time Curator:
- Second Class Post-Graduation Degree with at least 55 percent marks from a recognized University in History/ Economics/ Fine Arts/ Museology/ Numismatics/ Archaeology.
Age Limit:
- Legal Officer in Grade ‘B’ – 21 to 32 years
- Manager (Technical Civil) – 21 to 35 years
- Manager (Technical Electrical) – 21 to 35 years
- Library Professionals – 21 to 30 years
- Architect – 21 to 30 years
